I love my Swiffer Vac!!!! I have used full sized vacuums, electric brooms (Oreck, Black and Decker, and Karcher) and none of them come close to my Swiffer. The Swiffer Vac is plugged in and ready to go. I have 2 labs and ALWAYS have hair on my kitchen floors. I have used this on my hardwood floors and on vinyl flooring - works like a dream. I now "vacuum" my kitchen floor almost everyday and it only takes me 5 minutes. I love that what the vacuum portion doesn't get, the "swiffer pad" will pick up. Also, it is so light and easy to manuever anywhere. I can't say enough good things about this product!Customer Review: Great for wood laminate floors

I wanted a swivel sweeper then saw the reviews and am glad I changed my mind and got the swiffer vac. Wow- it picks up everything and you can adjust the front vac. part so it won't scratch the floor. It tilts up to put the swiffer pad on more conveniently. I bought extra filters but have not needed them yet. I just clean the filter I have every so often with my hand brushing it off. Love Love Love this vac. Charge the first time you get it for like 16 hours then you won't have a problem with your battery. I heard it is more powerful than other sweepers vacs like it and I believe it. Great Product!Customer Review: LOVE IT!

I absolutely LOVE my new Swiffer Sweep 'n' Vac! I have several dogs and cats, and the pet hair that collects in the corners and under cabinet overhangs is incredible. I no longer have to drag out my heavy vacuum cleaner and fool with the attachments to get under the cabinets or to change it from carpet to hard floor settings. The Sweep 'n' Vac is so lightweight and easy to use. It gets into the smallest spaces and corners - plus it does a double job of cleaning the floor with the Swiffer pads too! What a lot of people who own Swiffer vacs fale to mention is, Swiffer vac is not to be on at all times when cleaning your floors.
You are suppose to swiff the floors until you have a good amount gathered that the swiffer alone doesn't pick up. Then you turn the vac on and vacuum the accumulated dirt. That's it !! It's suppose to be a quick on and off just to pick up what the Swiffer cloth alone couldn't do. Guys believe it or not, I've had my Swiffer now for about five years and still works great on a very large home with wooden floors. Hope this info. helps.

I purchased this item because of the limits that a broom and dust pan have. You can sweep and sweep and sweep the dust into the dustpan but there is always a residual amount of dust left on the floor. The Swiffer Sweeper Vac changes all that and saves me a step or two when cleaning the kitchen floor. Just don't expect it to have the same vacuuming power as a conventional vacuum cleaner. This was meant for lightweight stuff like cereal. Candies and popcorn kernals, it won't pick up, otherwise enjoy the ease provided by the Swiffer company's fine products.
