I've got a kitchen floor that, probably like most kitchens in the US, sees the most of the household traffic. Add to that living in the country complete with some barn animals and a hunter boyfriend, and the dirt is pretty decent. I vaccumn all the time and after getting tired of dragging out the mop & bucket, bought the Swiffer Wetjet. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! It's simple to use and gets the job done fantastically. I'm 6'0 tall and the handle is quite long enough for me to hold comfortably. It's quick, it's easy, and it definitely works. Btw, for those complaining about it not picking up the major dirt, it's common sense that you're supposed to vaccumn before mopping, no matter what kind of mop system you use!!!Customer Review: The best bachelor cleaning product since Windex.

I'm not a dirty person, but I don't like cleaning either. Before I purchased the Wet Jet the only cleaning products in my arsenal were paper towels and Windex. I'll admit when I received the Wet Jet it had been over a year since I did more than just a spot clean on the floors. The first time I used it I went through several pads and quite a bit of cleaning fluid, but the floor looked great and the house smelled great for days. I have used it regularly ever since, it's easy to use and does a great job. I understand the other reviewers complaining about the cost of supplies but I would rather pay for the supplies than save money with a traditional mop and not do as good of a job.Customer Review: MODIFIABLE!!!

This product was 3.5 stars, until I realized I don't have to use only their cleaning solution and pads! Now this product is awesome!!! It has always worked better than a mop, of course. But now it works better than it did originally!
#1- I bought a better, reusable, cleaning pad (from my local grocery store) that sticks to the wet jet. The pad is more absorbable, so it doesn't leave a layer of dried solution all over the floors.
#2- The cleaning bottle of solution that "can't be opened" actually can be! All you need is a pair of pliers and the top screws right off. Put your favorite/cheaper cleaning solution inside and the top screws right back on.

This really makes cleaning of ceramic floors a breeze. I had previously used a different brand which had a manual system for dispensing the floor cleaner. This one has a battery driven pump which works very well and simplifies the whole process. It's easy to put together and the whole thing has a nice quality feel about it. I beleive you can use other cleaning fluids with it but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. The fluid that comes with the Swiffer works fine but it smells badly and I would prefer to use a 'green' product that doesn't contain any fragrance at all nor any chemicals whioh are harmful to inhale or come in contact with skin.

Customer Review: Lovin' the speed and ease of this 'mop'

Okay, so it isn't the traditional Pinesol & mop clean, but wow, does it make the daily cleaning easy. It works wonderfully on vinyl floors (but not so well on ceramic from what I have heard). I have a toddler and we are spilling stuff constantly so with a quick squirt and wipe, the spills are gone. Altho it says you can use it on wood, I am a bit skeptical to do so. That being said, we love using it on our kitchen and bathroom floors. I use the disinfecting solution and absolutely love how quick and easy it is to clean the floor. In short, I recommend this for quick daily use inbetween the traditional moppings and recommend it for vinyl floors in particular.
