I bought this iron out of desperation, when I had two curling irons die on me in one week. I was a little skeptical about the marcel grip, because I had read that it would leave creases in your hair, but I was so sick of spring popping out of my other curling irons, that I was willing to give it a try. Let me tell you this iron is amazing! It has multiple heat settings, so there's something for all hair types, and the heat is constant so I don't have to wait for any reheat. Even if you're not a professional, it takes no time to adjust to the marcel grip (which needs constant pressure on your part, to ensure a curl.) My curl lasts forever, which is also a plus. I recommend this to anyone who wants a professional results with shiny long lasting curls.
