Customer Review: Excellent scale, so far.

I bought this scale for $29.88 at Wal-Mart, marked down $10. It's possible they improved it's stance.....the feet are far enough out to the corners not to cause tipping. This one has a larger platform, which makes it steady to step on. It also seems very accurate so far. It comes with a Lithium LIFETIME battery (we'll see about that....I would be happy with 5 years), and a lifetime warranty. Very large numbers. This appears to be a current model, as seen at the company website. Despite the description, mine has a 300-lb., not 330-lb. limit. UPDATE 01/2009: The battery gave up in November, requiring a replacement. So much for "lifetime battery". I replaced it with a new lithium. It would have cost too much to mail the scale to the company for replacement. I have noticed the new scales in the stores no longer state "lifetime" battery.
