Customer Review: Excellent Readable Sturdy Attractive Scale

Firstly, it is extremely attractive sitting in our bedroom. The design with the aluminum top and bottom connected visibly under the glass with two aluminum bars is very cool. The numbers are of adequate size to read, but are enhanced beautifully with the blue back-lighting. I am extremely pleased that I paid the extra $ for the back-lit model. My daughter has the same model without the back-light and I prefer ours because of our age-affected vision. It reacts quickly when you step on it and registers the weight quickly and seems to be very accurate. I have had other digital scales that seemed more sturdy than this one, but had some moving parts that quickly broke. We are extremely (if I may repeat the word) pleased with this scale.
I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about a sturdy, attractive, well-made scale with very readable digital digits.

Most glass scales feature 8mm glass for stability, but this glass scales takes it one step further to a thick and stury 10mm! You will feel the difference when you use this. The platform is oversized to accomodate all foot sizes and body sizes. The capacity is also increased to 440 lbs in 0.2 lb increments. This scale also has standard Taylor glass elegance built in, such as clean UV glue to attach the scale load cells to the glass for elegant look, and silver finished components. Plus, the 1.4" LCD readout features a bright blue backlight, which makes reading the weight much easier. All Taylor scales feature instant on technology with no tapping the scale before weighing -- simply step on the scale to get the weight.
