I am very happy with my new Taylor scale. I've never had a problem with it, so far. I love that the scale doesn't have any beeps or anything when it weighs me; for people are sleeping when I usually weigh myself in the morning. I also really like that the display is very bright, big and easy to read, which is very useful, as I said, I weigh myself in the morning - hence, I'm usually 1/2 asleep myself. I would definitely recommend this scale to others. I would also like to comment or Amazon.com. I have never had any trouble with them before and this shipment was no different. My scale came in a timely fashion and the scale itself was in good condition. The inside box that it came in was a little damaged, but the outside box was fine. Probably could have used a little more cushion in the packaging; considering it's a sensitive scale. But, all's well that ships well :)Customer Review: A Beautiful, Well Built, Accurate Scale

This truly is a VERY NICE, and well built (this thing is HEAVY - not cheap, light, or flimsy like some of the cheap thin glass scales you see at Wal Mart !) and appears to be accurate based on my recent weigh in at the Dr office. I weigh my self twice a week - and the scale has proven to be "consistent" within a lb or two (you know....water weight !) The display is easy to see - I see how some would think the Blue Glow is "cool" but it is not necessary. Did I mention the Glass is THICK - it has a large standing area and is easy to clean with a bit of Windex.
I really like this scale a lot - it was not as cheap....or "low cost" as some of the other glass scales available - but it is worth the extra money and like the other favorable reviews I would recommend this scale as an excellent product.

We redesigned our bathroom in January with glass accents so we bought this scale to replace our Taylor Body Fat Scale Model 5596 (Which has been an excellent product - and we gave it to our neighbor and he now LOVES that scale)
This scale has proven to be just as excellent ! It has a very large surface area (for my husbands size 14's) and honestly has been both consistent and accurate in its weight measurements. The Back Light really makes the Display crisp & clear, very easy to read.
Taylor has proven to me over the past few years that the scale products we have purchased have been both style appropriate while performing to our expectations.
Highly Recommended !

Got the scale a few days ago and it works better than the other Taylor scale I had and looks much more contemporary. The read-out has a backlight which is far easier to see then the older models that do not have it. The weight increment is .2 lb. which is also better than the older models that had up to .5 lb. increments. Setup took about 5 seconds so really you just need to let it zero out once and your're good to go. The glass top is thick so it feels solid and it makes the scale look less obtrusive on the floor while the silver bars prevent you from not seeing the scaling and accidently stubbing a toe which might be something that occurs when you have a scale that is mostly glass.Customer Review: Best Value for a Top-Notch Scale

I purchased the Taylor 7519 scale in January and I am very pleased. The scale has a neat, clean look. While the scale has a generous 13" x 13" platform, the clear glass almost makes it disappear into the room. The digital readout is easy to read. This digital scale is far more accurate than my current analog scale and I found that the results are very repeatable (I weighed myself ten times in a row and got the same result within 0.2 lbs.). The key to accuracy and repeatability is to place the scale on a smooth, level, hard floor (ceramic tile or hardwood); placing the scale on a carpet or other cushioned floor will give inaccurate readings.
