My roommate bought me this teapot for Christmas a while back and the pot itself has weathered rather well. I've even accidentally banged it against the faucet or dishes in the sink but it has yet to break. The strainer on the other hand met its demise drying on the kitchen table and my other roommate tipped it over and it cracked and a few bits of the lip broke off. My only qualms with this is that Teaposy doesn't sell replacement strainers...at least not that I have found. Thus my only options would be to buy a new set or use metal strainers but then that defeats the point of having a glass teapot for flowering teas.Customer Review: Nice looking and it works

I bought this for my mom for Mother's day and she has been enjoying it. She uses it with conventional loose leaf tea, and it steeps well, despite my initial misgivings about its glass strainer. This teapot was bought from another retailer as part of a set with 2 boxes of the flowering teas. Our first fill of the pot, the flower looked beautiful, but I went to pick up the tea pot with the handle, and the glass broke where the handle goes. A circular piece of glass around each loop that holds the handle came out, so the handle was still stuck to two pieces of glass, but not the pot. We got a replacement shipped to us for free, no need to send back the broken pot. Here it is several months and honestly a handful of uses later (I was scared after the first break), and I pick it up after filling and what happens but the same thing...Clearly there is a weak point, and these are not well made. Their tea may be pretty, but their pots aren't worth the trouble.
