Don't buy into the hype that because this is an Art of Shaving product it is "better".
Alum is a chemical that comes out of the ground, there are no magic elves living in an old oak tree
formulating alum blocks for The Art of Shaving. This same product, without the bling, can be purchased online (and in ethnic grocery stores) for as little as $6. Save your money, improve your shaving techniques so you have less need for styptic or alum.
