I have been a big fan of Art of Shaving's shaving creams and lotions, and this set certainly looked handsome, so I was excited to plunk down my $300 and buy the set. Unfortunately, I quickly discovered that they're selling nothing but a shiny, fancy image. The brush was the first item to fail; it fell apart after about 6 weeks of use. (By comparison, I have a $10 brush I bought elsewhere that has been going strong for over 2 years.) The razor quit about a month later, it just stopped working in "power" mode and refuses to turn back on either the light or the motor. So now I have a $300 doorstop. I am extremely disappointed by this item and will never buy an Art of Shaving product again. (At least the stand hasn't fallen apart yet, for whatever that's worth.)
