My preface is that my husband is a VERY no-frills man. His preferred style of dress is shorts and a basic t-shirt, and shaving daily for his Manhattan finance job is his worst nightmare. I bought him this cream from a dept. store as a gift, and the combo of this + a simple brush has revolutionized his life. He LOVES it: the cream softens his thick hair, the brush lifts it, and the shave is just the closest you can imagine. He doesn't use the pre- and post- products of the line (being no-frills and all), but even this one product is enough. TRUST me when I say your guy (or you) doesn't need to be a product hound to love this, and the restults really speak for themselves. Also, the Sandalwood smells incredible in a very subtle, manly way.
