This was a great starter kit. The pre-shave oil, shaving cream, and aftershave lotion are outstanding. The brush is nice. It sold me on badger hair vs the boar's hair I had been using. It isn't the nicest brush I've used. That's because it led me to purchase additional brushes.
The downside of this product... You're going to buy more. Much more. I'm a huge lavender fan and the Art of Shaving has always been just out of what I would consider a reasonable price range. This starter kit proved that, at times, you really do get what you pay for. Excellent purchase and I would recommend to anyone interested in a great shave.
