Customer Review: Ok, So I am an old "flower child from the 60's

I used biofeedback to center myself years ago and was trying to explain it to my grandchildren. I bought this "Journey To The Wild Divine" to practice 1 hour a day and work with my grandkids as often as possible. They already know Grandma is not your usual grandma so they have come to expect just about anything. What I have noticed they learn very fast how to center themselves and apply the things they are learning in regular life situations. They are leaning how to focus their energy quickly. I think this will keep us busy for a long time to come. The music and graphics interesting. No violence. Just love and peace! There are guides in game who help you find your way in case you wonder and get lost. I am also going to buy the meditation for children. They are just natural at it if they have someone to guide them. So glad I found this.Customer Review: Wow... this is great!

Just after a few days, I've discovered my breathing has been fairly shallow in the past. The breathing exercise is great and has helped me to be more conscious of breathing better! From what I can tell so far, this biofeedback system will be very beneficial overall. It's entertaining, holds my attention and has been really fascinating at times.
I read the comment below about the sensor not working well and would like to mention that I didn't get a good reading over one (1) until I used hand lotion as recommend by the manual. I tried a moisture lotion that dries fairly fast; it didn't work too well. I tried Neutrogena(R) Hand Cream and it worked great, though I thought it was a bit too fragrant; I picked up the fragrance free version instead.

I am not by any means a video-game player and I am the person who has to ask her IT department to help her with pretty much every computer task. That said, a store in my city had The Journey out to try so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I'm totally hooked!
The graphics and music alone are beautiful and I have found the practices that I learned and continue to learn really helpful in my day to day life. It was very easy to load up (trust me, I asked lots of questions at the store just to make sure I'd be able to do it) and I can't get enough.
I'm definitely considering giving this to some family members for the holidays. The benefits really have effected my lifestyle and I would love to share that with others.

I have had this game for several months now and have "finished" it multiple times.
I still continue to use it on an almost daily basis to relax or to amplify my energy, by saving it at certain sites to return to a certain practise. For example, if you know that you need to relax on occasion, you can save the game at spot that requires the relaxing breath. Then, return to that spot whenever relaxation is needed.
I have a 6 year old granddaughter who also likes to "play" it and she amazed me the first time she played because of her ability to increase energy or relax so easily.
I highly recommend this product.

I was skeptical of this program at first, but had a chance to demo it for several days at a conference. It's compelling and fun to use. It's also accurate-- at one point I was focusing on relaxing and allowing some balloons to float slowly across the bottom of the screen. Someone came up behind me and startled me and the balloons jumped up to the top of the screen in time with my reaction. My only complaint is that parts of it are a little slow and talky. It's well worth the expense if you're interested in developing your mind/body communication, although probably not as valuable for someone who is already well into that.
