I was suffering from hormonally-related dry eye symptoms, exacerbated by a powerful air-conditioning/heating system in my office. Dry eye is caused by the eye not producing tears properly. The tears are not of the correct consistency (thickness), evaporate too quickly (poor quality tears) and insufficient tears (lack of tears).
