OK so my gums started getting very sensitive after using Mentadent toothpaste (peroxide I'm guessing)and it was most uncomfortable. So I started buying a sensitive gums toothpaste which didn't help much. Then I really went nuts and bought a Philips Sonicare toothbrush for over a hundred bucks and right after I did that, I saw this stuff. I bought it too. I used it for a few weeks and it didn't seem to do much at first. But about a month into taking it (that's as long as they tell you to take it), this product combined with my Sonicare toothbrush (on massage setting) has my mouth clean and pain free. It's hard to say which had the most effect so I'll split the difference. This stuff tastes terrible but it was worth it to have my mouth back to normal. I have had trouble with sensitive teeth practically all of my adult life (don't ask how long that's been!). Nothing solves the problem completely, but I've tried many different products, and this one works as well as or perhaps better than any of them. I've been using it pretty consistently for a couple of years, now. Plus, it's pleasant to use. I actually enjoy the spicy flavor (not picante, just highly flavored with clove, etc.). If you have sensitive teeth definitely give this one a try.
