Customer Review: Wonderful product, lasts longer than expected

I am the mother of a student who plays in her high school marching band. After band camp this summer (8 - 12 hour days each for 2 weeks), she began experiencing muscle strain (not a pulled muscle which would be much worse). Once school started, the need to sit in a hard, wooden chair for 7 hours, followed by 3 hours of band practice (plus all day Saturdays), the pain got worse. After calling her pediatrian for advice, this product was something that was recommended. She is taking ibuprofen, got a 45 minute massage to loosen the muscles, and has been wearing this heat product daily. While a multi-pronged approach makes it impossible to pinpoint if one thing has been more beneficial that the other, what she talks about as giving her relief is this heating wrap.
She puts it on at 6:30 am before leaving for school and is able to wear it under her clothes without anyone being aware of it. When she takes it off at the end of the day (often at least 12 hours later), the wrap is still warm. Even 24 hours later, there is some heat being generated by the wrap. I was thinking she would need to wear two each day to give her the relief she needed, but one per day is plenty.
We are both quite pleased with the product since she is feeling much better and the "treatment" isn't obvious to her friends, which can be very important when a teenager. Really great product and we are probably going to be purchasing the one for cramps as well to see how that works.
