I bought this seat to use on a long (900+) mile ride over the holidays. It worked great and allowed for a very comfortable seat which MY seat appreciated. Good support (even some lumbar support) and I never noticed the 8 hour day rides. I will transfer this into my car for my daily commute once I am back home and know it will work very well.
My only complaint is that the fabric of the seat does not allow for you to slide on it, but this also keeps you from sliding down while riding, so the minus of this is really moot. Still, it is something to consider if that sort of thing bothers you.
I will be buying another of these for use in both of my cars. Don't hesitate to buy this as I see no negatives (just that one about the fabric).
The cushion covers the entire seat of a Honda Civic passenger side seat. It is not high enough to provide head support - you'll need a pillow of some kind if you want to rest your head.
