We bought this for our one year old, now two. We have tried to make this work time and time again, and we always get error messages, or off by 5 degrees. I lost my reciept and was unable to return it. Do not wast you money, buy the Kidz-Med 5-in-1 Non-Contact Thermometer, and never worry about an inaccurate read again.

HOrrible product or this seller is selling broken items! I purchased it about 3 months before my baby was born... and since I opened it it was not working properly. The display doesnt work at all.. you might be able to see the 9 but not the next number to it... so its useless, definitely I do not recommended.Customer Review: Very Inaccurate

Item manual states 5 degree range variation is normal - how is this helpful in determining your childs temperature. What's worse is Amazon will not accept a return on either defective product. Buyer beware.Customer Review: Ready, Aim and Miss

This Thermometer gives us a temperature of 86, when the baby is healthy and well. Normal temperature should be 98.7. We've tested this on ourselves too and yet it fails to give us the accurate number.
