My chiropractor had one of these. And as far as I'm concerned, they should be available to professionals only. Very powerful if used improperly. I ended up slightly sore from use. Returned product without any problem.Customer Review: This is not what I expected

The "thumper" doesn't thump; there is no pressure on deep tissues as claimed. I expected this device to push down into my deep tissues by exerting some type of force because that is what is implied. The only way to get into the deep tissue is to have someone press down on the vibrator or prop yourself up on top of it so that your weight causes pressure.
All the "thumper" does is vibrate. It makes you itch pretty quickly, but happily you can control the intensity of the vibration.
If this was advertised as a vibrator, I'd say it's the best out there. That's the only reason why I gave it a 2.
If you're looking for a deep tissue massage that has a slight pounding sensation or an exertion of force as the word "thump" implies, you will be totally let down.
I'd say this is pretty much false advertising.
