Tide is the pride & joy of its parent company.
Does it really clean your clothes SO much better than, say 'All' Free & Clear, which I used for several years? I'm not sure I can say THAT, but it does excellent work.
I switched from All to Tide when the prices became relatively comparable during the economic downturn...hey, I'm as much influenced by reputation/marketing as anyone. Tide's parent company seems to have noticed that charging a 40% premium over your competitor isn't necessarily suited to these times. Great!!
If you have sensitive skin, allergies, a skin condition, don't want your clothes competing with your perfume, or just hate nasty "floral" scents, this IS the detergent for you. There truly is no scent whatsoever. Ahhh.
Like most quality detergents, it does seem to me that I can get away with using less than the bottle calls for, which makes it even more economical (they generally don't want you to know that, but it's still true). There is also a cold-water version of this product that is even MORE efficient/economical! I use both.
AT THE TIME OF THIS REVIEW this product is not available on Subscribe & Save (pity) and so it is more expensive than can be had in stores (in my area, anyhow).
This may be a niche product and hard-to-find in your area, so you may be well-served ordering it here! If the price fluctuates lower and a subscription is available, I would DEFINITELY recommend getting it through Amazon.
