Customer Review: BEST Detergent Ever -- But Read On for Packaging Problems

I have been a loyal Tide user for over twenty years. My mom used it when I was growing up. She always said it was the best at cleaning clothes. Another example of Mom always being right!
As a struggling young graduate, I tried cheaper detergents and even top brand competing brands when on sale. Clothes never got as clean as Mom's. So I started buying Tide. Never bought another brand since. It does an amazing job of cleaning clothes and stain removal. I can even wash my clothes on an "express cycle" and with Tide (and my good washing machine), clothes are always clean.
Now for the pricing. Amazon's prices is not always the best for Tide. You could get it less on most days at Target. But I shop with Subscribe and Save for the convenience.
The packaging is abysmal. If I get the box of 4 without any leaks, its amazing. I stopped buying from Amazon over a year ago for this reason. Then I just started up again, and my first package arrive with one bottle leaking all over the box. Of course I have to suck it up, because of the hassle returning Four - 100oz bottles. I bought this to make my life easier, not more difficult.
So yes, Tide HE is a stellar product, but the pricing on Amazon is questionable, and the packaging is poor. I should have take off points for these issues, but I'm giving the Tide a 5 star review because it is such an amazing product. Why skew the ratings because Amazon's high price and lousy packaging.
