I bought this pillow for my Grandmother who is in a Nursing home. She sleeps a lot and her head gravitates toward her shoulders. It always looks uncomfortable, but she is unable to adjust it. This has helped.Customer Review: Remember everyone is built different

I purchased this item because I am a Parkinson's disease patient, and my medication causes me to fall asleep while in an easy chair, e.g. recliner, and I wake up with my head off to one side, or my chin on my chest, and have drooled on myself.
This item was intended to stop that problem. It is a well made, comfortable item, but the physical dimensions of my body, neck, chair and this pad did not fit together in a comfortable or workable combination. I offered giving it away, but nobody wanted it.
Then an event required me to take a ten hour drive in the back seat of my brother's car. This pad was a life saver. It provided inconspicuous comfortable neck support and it was easy to sleep in the car. Coming and going. I am not about to give it away, anymore.
I realized relaxing in my favorite chair in front of TV was not traveling: this is a travel pillow. It provides good enough neck support it would be worth buying just to test the comfort. It may work well for you in both home and travel situations.
