Customer Review: Great for wheezy dogs!

Seriously, our chihuahua Ollie has terrible allergies. On our vet's advice we give him half a dose of childrens allergy medicine twice a day. The liquids had the tendency to foam in his mouth and he hated the taste (for some reason we couldn't find lamb-flavored.) Trying to "pill him" just led to unpleasantness for all concerned. So we tried these dissolving strips and he loves them! Before bed he sits near the bedside table staring at the box of strips as if to remind us. When we pick up the box he jumps in our lap wagging his tale. Though he doesn't gobble them down like a treat he does open his mouth a little so we can slid it onto his tongue. Now he sleeps quietly all night without wheezing and he never vomits them back up like he did the liquids.
Finding these strips has been a relief to all of us. If you have a wheezy dog, you may want to consider these Triaminic children's allergy strips, but be sure to check with your vet first.

Update: We are still using these for our chihuahua and now he sits on the bed staring at the nightstand won't go to bed until we've given him his strip... and now he gobbles them like a treat! I never thought given him his medicine could be so painless for everyone involved.
