I don't have hemorrhoids. But as I've aged, my skin seems to have become very prone to irritation of all sorts. So occasionally, I get hemorrhoid-like symptoms. These Tucks work very nicely for that little problem. The Witch Hazel pad cleanses and its astringent properties cool and soothe the inflammation. Most times, one application is all I need.
My only complaint is that the pads are a bit too small. I find that I have to use two overlapping pads (in a sort of figure-8 shape) to get the job done. Also, removing just a single pad from the stack of them in the jar can be challenging - especially when there are only a few left and you have to reach in to the container to get one. You need to sort of "pinch" the top pad with your fingernails to do it. You'll develop the knack by the time you finish your first jar.
As other reviewers have pointed out, since these are nothing more than flushable pads soaked in a Witch Hazel solution, you can save some money with store brands without sacrificing efficacy. I often buy Target's version of these. They are packaged identically and they work just as well in every way but cost about half as much!
