My heel was injured very badly in an accident caused by a shopping cart about two weeks ago. I had heel pain, bone bruise, and the tendon that connects the back of the heel to the foot also hurts. After one an a half week, I tried to walk normally but it still hurts. I tried tapping my foot for the first week but it hurt even more after I untapped it, say after a client's meeting.I initially ordered another product with an aircell. The design was great but the plastic behind my heel hurts my skin as soon as I started walking.
I couldn't find a product that will support my ankle, heel(secure to the foot and provide support at the bottom at the same time) without disturbing my external skin injury until I found Tuli's Cheetah Heel Protector.
The back at where the fabric connects to the waffle heel cup is almost seamless. It does not bother my skin at all. I did a little box lifting today with the protector but did not feel tender or weak at the end of the day- surprise! This is a very unique product, good design.
I am a petite woman, about 5'-0", 94 lbs. I ordered the medium size and it fits just right. It also comes with an extra waffle heel cup for the non-injured foot to balance any difference in height create by a single waffle heel cup.
I love it!
