If you regularly suffer from heartburn and don't want to carry a bottle of Tums with you, these are convenient. Each packet contains the equivalent of 2 regular Tums, so for most people, that would mean 2 packets should solve your heartburn problems.
Since Tums is also a calcium supplement, users would get 40% of the standard calcium recommendation in one packet. However, at this price, I would instead opt for the tablets.
Since I only need occasional heartburn relief, these are very convenient for me to carry in my car. They're so small, they would also fit easily into a wallet, gym bag, or even a pocket.
The packet tears open easily and the powder is very fine and basically dissolves on contact with my tongue.

This is a great product that is grossly overpriced. Can be purchased locally for $16.85 versus the $25.00 charge at Amazon. My fault for not shopping around first. Hope this helps you to decide. UPDATE: Good to see that they have lowered the price.
