I bought this cough medicine recently when struck down with a severe chest cold. Unfortunately I still had to go to work, so I needed something to help me get through the day, and this Tylenol cough syrup certainly did help. This stuff worked on my congestion, it dried me out a bit (more would have been welcome), and it offered some cough suppressant qualities (again, more would have been welcome, but we are talking about an OTC product). This medicine didn't make me sleepy. My one complaint is with the taste- it was absolutely foul. I know cough medicine isn't going to taste fantastic, but this defied description. I'm used to a menthol-type taste in cold medicine, but this had a seriously weird taste- supposedly it's honey lemon, I just call it gross. Honestly, Tylenol should just go back to the menthol flavor they used when they had a cooling one. That tasted like a cough drop, which was much more palatable.
