I was caught off guard after my first whiff of this fish oil supplement. I have been using Ultimate Omega from Nordic Naturals and do not remember opening the bottle and smelling such a strong, fishy smell. Whatever the lemon is supposed to do, did not impact the smell of the product I received. Imagine fish food. Luckily, I don't hate fish, so I will go ahead and take it with the hopes that I don't get the burps or aftertaste that I have heard about. If you want a fish oil supplement without a funky smell, try Ultimate Omega and get your vitamin d3 elsewhere.
