Customer Reviews of UniFiber All Natural Fiber Supplement, 16-Ounce TubCustomer Review: NOT Grit-Free Summary: 2 Stars
I would like to know how this company can say their product is Grit-Free when it is obviously not! I tried mixing it with water to start with and I nearly choked to death from the grit. I then tried to mix it in applesauce and it became very think and was still gritty. So now I had to eat thick, gritty applesauce. The good news is that it doesn't have much of a taste. I found that if I only mix one scoop (never two) in half a glass of water, stir it really well and then drink it fast with another glass of water to get the grit down right after then it's okay. This sounds like a lot of work for only 3 grams of fiber and it is a lot of work. You're better off doing more research for a fiber that give you more.
If you are looking for a fiber than has both soluble and insoluble fiber (8 greams) and are not on a restricted diet then try Colonix from DrNatura.com It's all natural as well. The soluble fiber makes me bloated so I can't use it but it is well received by their other customers.
Good luck!
Customer Review: Very unpleasant texture Summary: 2 Stars
UniFiber All Natural Fiber Supplement, 16-Ounce Tub
Might be effective (I'll wait and see). It IS natural, safe, and without aspertame. However, it is NOT non-gelling, and it has the most unpleasant texture of all fiber powders I have used for years.
I found a way to make it drinkable: mix it with 100
% grape juice and a dash of sugar. Then, it it does not choke you, but it still requires stirring for each sip.
Customer Review: UniFiber Summary: 2 Stars
UniFiber didn't work as well as we'd hoped. It was for my mother and daughter, and they both have severe digestive problems.
