I have been battling winter depression for years. I normally wind up having to get on anti-depressants, but not this year. I decided I'd try light therapy and it worked! My laptop fits perfectly beneath this light and I sit every morning with my coffee in "the sun". I noticed a difference after 3-4 days. This light is great and well worth the money. I love this lamp because it really works! I have a lot more energy and have felt a real uplift in my attitude since I've started sitting in front of this lamp for a half-hour every morning as suggested by the manufacturer. I read and that half-hour goes by quickly. It has two settings, the higher setting is for therapeutic use and the lower setting makes a terrific task lamp. It's nice looking. This is a wonderful light. It arrived in perfect condition, was easy to set up and is extremely effective. I started having SAD symptoms in mid-september - anxiety, insomnia, sugar & carb cravings and irritability. After my first session, I slept like a rock, and within 48 hours the rest of my symptoms disappeared. This sun lamp works very well and was easy to set up. The light is easy on the eyes and can be used for reading while you are using it for sun exposure. The company also was very helpful as when it arrived one of the bulbs had broken in shipping. I called and they shipped out two free bulbs right away. There are two stands, one built in and a seperate one which is larger which allows for different heights. All in all this is an excellent product and worth the price.Customer Review: IT WORKS

Here in Maine, we have many gloomy days. We need this to help with the blues. We set it on the table while reading the paper, At night we use it again for about 30 minutes. It has two settings, High and low. The legs are sturdy enough. Long cord, which helps. I must say this light works well. Excellent Warranty. On and off switch could use a label for high low and off, Good reviews by others was important for us in choosing this light. We are very happy.
