Ordered this for my 92 year old father. It worked very well for him for a couple of days but he was put on hospice care soon after. He almost slid off of it, so be sure the person using it has leg muscles to hold themselves up when in full tilt. My 82 year old mother is in good health but has scoliosis and had to pull herself up out of a recliner. She started using the lift and it was great! It slowly lifts her up and down and she's really happy with it. She's a small woman. We both thought the little plastic levers to activate the lift looked a little flimsy, but so far so good. For a heavy/large person (over 200 lb's) the levers (located on each side in front of the lift)could possibly be in their "legs" way.

UPEASY Power Seat is an electric lifting cushion that gently seats and raises users from an armchair or sofa. It provides safe, controlled support and lifts 100% of the user's weight, up to 300 lbs. Weighing 12 lb (5.4 kg), Power Seat has a built-in carry handle, and is easily transported. Easy care, the cover can be machine washed, and the coated foam cushion cleaned with mild detergent. Adds about 2" (5 cm) to chair height when seated. Patented design provides a flat seating surface at every level of lift. Power Seat is an affordable alternative for those who need a lift chair, or a transportable accessory for those who already own one.
