I bought two of these and have used them now for almost a year with nothing but good results - we keep them on a sunny window sill and they are always ready to go when we need them - which is virtually every night when we take the dogs out. We also take one with us on boating trips. Contrary to what another reviewer said happened to his, the lens on both of ours has remained totally clear and like new. If I had any complaint it would be that the on/of switch is too easily pressed and it's easy to accidentally turn it on or off.
