Customer Review: No problems! Now I can continue to be lazy!

I felt I was "taking a chance" based on all the negative comments, but I have no complaints. I got exactly what was promised. The 3 lights were packaged separately and shipped together in an oversized box (seemed wasteful), but once I put the batteries in, and set the little switch to auto, they do exactly what I've wanted for years!
Our TV room is in the basement and the light switch is way over by the stairs. Once we are done watching, we'd always have to stumble through the dark (which is not safe in our house...) to get to the stairs just to turn on the light or leave. Putting a lamp near the chairs isn't an option because then I would need to put on the lamp; go to the steps turn on the room lights; go back to the lamp turn it off; then go back to the steps turning off the switch as I leave. (As I said - my goal is to remain lazy.)
Now, we've got 3 of these little babies placed all around so we can just pop one on and leave while their light is on and it will turn itself off after 5 minutes.
Another added benefit of not mounting them is that I now have a hand-held light whenever I need to quickly read something (like: which disc number is this one?), find an obscure button on the remote, check for scratches on a skipping DvD, etc.... I can just grab one of these lights; pop it on; see what I need; and pop it off.
They are really bright. The light does tilt in the base that can rotate if you do mount it. The frosted lens in the picture makes them look like flood lights, but they really are more like spot lights than flood lights.
