I just bought this humidifier yesterday but I am very impressed with it already. My 5 month old has had a cough so bad it was making him throw up. Two nights ago (before the purchase) he had stayed awake almost the enitre night. Last night he slept great--9.5 hours with only waking up once. I turned the humidifier on the high speed which is loud, but this is a child who falls asleep to the vacuum cleaner. I have to say the room got cool but it sure helped a ton. Also it ran for 10 hours and still had water left, but we also have good water here in Memphis so I guess the length of time it runs has to do with the water condition. It was also very easy to open and fill with water. I love this product already.Customer Review: I Love This Thing

This was on my baby registry for my coming attraction but my nose has been so horrible with this pregnancy in the dry winter air that I just had to get it early. Last night my husband and I used it for the first time and it helped IMMENSELY. I usually wake up at least 3 times in the night to blow my nose or stop nose bleeds and I didn't wake up at all last night. I woke up with a comfy nose (I don't have a cold or nose problems during the day, these are pregnancy related problems).The humidifer looks very nice and hums but I find the humming to be really nice and relaxing. It's like the perfect "white noise". I can imagine a baby would love it if it needs white noise to sleep....

This is a great humidifier. After reading all the other reviews, this one by far received the best ratings, so we figured we'd give it a try. Our daughter was waking up with a stuffy nose every morning. For any breastfed baby, like my own, this has to be a horrible feeling. Since we've been using this product, her nose is clear and she does tend to sleep a little longer, thanks to the "little white noise." And as for some of the others, it really does last for a full 24 hours. (We run ours on medium) I would highly reccommend this product to anyone, and would purchase another if I had to.Customer Review: We LOVE this product!

I registered for this product and received it as a shower gift. We love it! Our son was born in January and our house tends to be dry as a result of the heating system. This humidifier is terrific and though it is loud on the highest level it is almost silent on the lower level. It runs cleanly and there is no white powder on the furniture or floors like you get with the ultrasonic humidifiers. To cut down on the number of times you have to replace the filters, I use filtered tap water and have not had a problem. As a stay at home mother of 4 children, ages 8 down to 3, I have had alot of experiences with humidifiers. We've had many occasions when a humidifier was necessary, and we've tried MANY different ones.This VICKS brand humidifier is by far the easiest to fill, clean, and replace filters on. It also has 3 speeds and a turn off switch which allows for preference settings and easy -on/off; no reaching for a plug.
I would recommend this cool mist{no heat}humidifier to even adults.
This will be a must-give for baby showers, as it's a gift that can be used for YEARS!
