I purchased this one because it does not look like a the standard old man cane. It looks very nice. I really like that it does not have the standard rubber bottom. I have a bad knee than goes out from time to time and I wanted to have something classy when I need it. However I have owned it for a few months and the nickle plating is starting to wear off.
Another concern is that the head is only held on by two nails and I think there may have been some adhesive. Well once it started to get a bit cold (20's)the head started coming loose. I ended up having to drill larger holes in the collar and and stick then attach it with screws to keep it tight. A little more thought to the design and this would not have been an issue at all.
I am 6'0" but with short legs for my height and the length was perfect for me. If you think it may be too long that is better than too short. It can always be cut to size.
Overall this serves it's purpose and I'll use it until I can afford a better quality one.
