Customer Review: Wonderful alternative to big, stinky prenatal pills, but does not include everything you need

During my first pregnancy, taking my prenatal was a struggle. Large pills (due to calcium), stomach upset (due to iron) and just the act of swallowing (and smelling) the pills about sent me over the edge. This time around I vowed that I would find something better and this product is part of the trifecta.
The Vitafusion gummy prenatal has most of what you need, aside from calcium and iron, and includes DHA/Omega-3 which is superb. I don't mind the missing iron since I have mild anemia and have to take a separate iron supplement (SlowFe) which is time released and helps with stomach upset. Calcium comes from a separate gummy supplement (Vitafusion as well) which is tasty and doesn't upset my stomach either. I take the iron in the morning with a glass of OJ which helps the iron absorb, 2 calcium chews with lunch and 2 more with dinner (calcium absorbed better with food), and then the Vitafusion prenatal with the iron pills in the evening (prenatals have Vitamin C so best to take iron with these for absorption).
I'm taking more "pills" now, but they are much more palatable, easier on the stomach, and something that I do not dread at all...meaning that I'll more likely stick with them.
