I really really like this product. I'm currently using the 300 capsules, but in my second purchase will be using the 600 capsules. I have been taking psyllium husk on and off over the years. I've been through products like Metamucil and Benefibre to get my daily fiber intake and keep myself regular. I also have a container of loose psyllium husk powder in the house. I've been unsatisfied with all of them. Metamucil mainly because none of their products taste good even with the sweeteners, and also because of all the ingredients they add to the PH to try to make it taste good. This is the same for Benefibre, in paticular they're chewables--yuck!! The loose PH is good and I think a bit more aggressive but it doesn't contain Acidophilus and sometimes you may not take enough water which may pose to be uncomfortable---it's like bits of Husk get lodged in the throat.
I love this procuct since I don't have to deal with any of the above. The capsules are pretty small, meaning they're a manageable size to swallow, nothing huge. You don't have to deal the water intake except for swallowing, since the husk powder is in capsules, and there is no after taste or taste what so ever. With the capsules you are given a set dosage of fibre which you can alter, it's one or two capsules once or twice a day. Since I'm more for an aggressive approach I take two capsules twice a day. It's fantastic. I've started just yesterday and there has already been a change that has impressed me. I already feel lighter and far less bloated. I wasn't too sure about Acidophilus, but it's fantastic for digestive conditions. In the past I have suffered from gasteritis, constipation and the like, Acidophilus wards those away with regular intake.
Definitely for people on high protein, low carb diets where you may not be getting all your necessary fibre---this product will be a god send. Actually, this goes for anyone who doesn't take in enough fibre, which is everyone. You won't be disappointed.
