I've had this flat iron for 4 years and it has served me well! I'm actually considering getting one for my cousin for Christmas, that's how I happened to be posting this review. The width of the plates makes it easy to straighten my hair quickly and it doesn't leave any "kinks". It's ready to use in less than 60 seconds and heats evenly on the plates. Good design, good construction, I highly recommend it.
