My husband bought this for me for massage and self pleasure...WOW. It rivals even the Hitachi Magic Wand. The two settings are perfect and it does as advertised and the long cord is a nice feature. The many attachments give you a massage with a variety of uses. :) We have used it for sore calves, scalp massage, back massage and for masturbation and use during sex. It has been a wonderful addition to our bedroom on all accounts!
As to the other complaints. The two switches are close together but not an issue AT ALL! Actually nice to have them there so close IMHO. Yes, some of the attachments were hard to get on at first. My husband took a wine bottle stopper (tapered on the end), stretched them a little and they all work just fine. Heat is great....The heat is only used with one attachment though. The unit does get a little warm with prolonged use of 25-30 minutes...but not hot...

I had a hand-held massager for years and it finally gave out and so I hoped to buy one that equaled the old one. I had no idea what to look for so first bought a Conair which was a waste of time and money--I think a toy may have worked better than that one. I sent it back and did a more thorough job of reading the reviews. Everyone seemed quite happy with this Wahl model so I ordered it. It is everything I hoped for as my neck and shoulders get tight from sitting at my computer and I love the heat that comes through the metal attachment. My daughter, a postal supervisor and mother of both a 3 year old and a teenager, gets very tight muscles in the neck and shoulders and she loves my massager so I'll be ordering another one in a couple of months for her birthday!!Customer Review: Wahl 2-Speed Hand-Held All-Body Massager with Heat

I totally love this product. It comes with 6-7 attachments for massaging various parts of the body. I especially love the "comb-like" attachment for massaging the scalp. This attachment loosens dandruff and stimulates the scalp, putting you to sleep and making you very relaxed. The heat attachment (red) is great! It can be used on any part of the body, and never gets so hot that it's dangerous to the body. It's great after a cold winter day and a tiring day at work.
For the money, I highly recommend this product. It does a better job than many massagers that cost 3x's as much!

I haven't used this more than a few times so far, but each time it temporarily relieved the muscle spasms I've been having in my shoulder and made them less painful overall. The vibration level is deep thrumming- the kind of thing one would likely see at a chiropractor's office rather than what you'd get with one of the simpler massage devices I've tried.
The heat element heats rather slowly but better that than burn my delicate skin. I look forward to trying out the other attachments (without heat).
Read the documentation if you get this- it gives plenty of valuable information.

Until I read the many positive reviews, I was hesitant in purchasing this particular massager as I thought it wouldn't be powerful enough. Well, am I glad I listened to the positive reviewers because the Wahl 2-Speed with Heat is just the ticket for me.
There are assorted attachments which I have not used yet because my preference is the massager with heat attachment. If you are experiencing sore joints or muscles and want a good massager at an affordable price, then this Wahl 2-Speed Hand-Held Massager with Heat is for you!
Thumbs up to Amazon (as usual) for an earlier than expected shipment arrival!
