[...]. Based on the reviews I read on Amazon, I took a chance and purchased Wahl Color Pro instead. Besides the color guides (which are great), the instructional manual is very helpful although basic. Unfortunately, it caterers more to "caucasian" haircutting techniques. Additionally, the other negative factor I have about this set is that, the "outlining" (or taping/trimming) capability of these clippers are poor as it pertains to "Black" OR "African-American" hair texture and length. Fortunately, I found a few tutorials on YouTube [...]. One tutorial shows you how to make regular clippers - RAZOR SHARP for trimming and taping Black hair. After adjusting my clippers according to the tutorial, I am very satisified with them. Additionally, THE CLIPPERS ARE NOT NOISY AT ALL. They sounds just like regular ones. I am glad I purchased this kit and I haven't regretted it yet.Customer Review: Really good product.

This clipper is soooo easy to use. I'd never used an electric hair clipper before, so I would've liked an actual User's Manual with lots of pictures; buy I did okay. No, I must've done better than okay. My mother didn't wear a bag over her head after her haircut.Customer Review: Powerful and quiet

This clipper has very good power, the attachments work well, and the price is right. A slight complaint is that the case is non-fitted. It's just a space, and the kit rattles around inside, assuming you can get it all crammed in there. Still, glad I got it.Customer Review: its used!!!

ok 1st of all when i opened the box i noticed there was still hair on the clippers!! and im missing 1 of the attachments. I had 2 clean it and everything before I used it (like Duhh!) besides that its works fine still i shouldn't have 2 pay full price for something that iz used....Customer Review: Noisy and attachments are poor quality

I've been cutting the hair of my husband for sometime now, and always - I have used Wahl, but we've recently moved to US, and I am in need of a new hair clipper.
I bought this recently - as it was cheap but I was really disappointed the first time I used it. Firstly, the attachements are of poor quality that it feels like it will break easily and the ends of the attachments were sharp that it can hurt your head if you are not careful; secondly, the noise it makes when you used it; and thirdly, most of the time it pulls the hair out instead of cutting it. And the thing that bothers me most is that it gets so hot while you use it and it shakes a lot too! And I've been using Wahl for a long time now as I've always got an impression that they provide the consumers with excellent quality clippers, but not this one though :-(, I am really disappointed that I've returned it to the shop. Perhaps, I was given a damaged one and I hope that people who will buy this will not have the same disappointment I've had...
