I was sort of reading mixed reviews on this clipper, so I was nervous about ordering but i'm real glad I did. Some of the poor reviewers were saying that it pulled hair and it hurt and this and that. Well thats a bunch of garbage. I have REALLY thick hair (I'm russian). I didn't have any problem whatsoever with any pain or pulling. It cut very nicely and easily. I only cut my hair once so far so i'll update this after more cuts... but as of now I am VERY satisfied with this clipper!Customer Review: Hubby loves it!

Bought this for Xmas as a stocking stuffer & it was a bigger hit than the ones under the tree. His old one had gotten so bad he felt it was just tugging the hair out & that one was 3 times more expensive & lasted about 24 months with infrequent use. He loves to shave his head & this gives a quick clean shave that he really likes. He even trims his mustache & goatee. Lots of attachments that he doesn't use because he just shaves to the skin, so can't comment on the usefulness of those.Customer Review: First impressions

Bought it, and tested it out on my 18m old son with really really long hair. Never touched haircutting in my life and after 15mins we had a very presentable son - despite him constantly moving his head and whining. I expect my second effort to be even better but I am SOOO glad I bought it. These things are so cheap you can throw them away after 3 cuts and you've still saved money! Be brave - you'll be amazed at the number of volunteers you will get (mainly parents with young kids!)Customer Review: Works well

After deciding that I didn't want to pay $20 for a haircut in Harvard Square, I decided to purchase this kit. It's really simple to use - the instructional DVD, while far from elite, makes hair clipping easy. My girlfriend watched the video (with me) and cut my hair right afterwards, and it turned out rather well. Make sure to watch the DVD though, if you are a beginner: my roommate's girlfriend didn't watch the video and cut a somewhat interesting hairstyle on my roommate's head.Customer Review: Great Value!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the value of this kit. The clipper is professional quality, heavy (not plastic) and well balanced. It comes with every accesory you could ever want, right down to a drape and neck brush. The only thing I would improve would be the hand shears, which do not seem up to the quality of the clippers. But, hey, I didn't even expect to get the scissors at all for the $27 price! Comes in a handy plastic case to keep everything together neatly.
