The slighly smaller head on these clippers make them much easier to use for angles and other things. They are very quiet, and have no cord, so horse-owners should love them. I wish I had this one when I had a horse.
I used them with the cord plugged in because where I was it was easy. I was clipping my kitty (look on the web, this is done sometimes) who has way to much hair on his tail and the back of his legs that shed out. This summer he is getting a "lion cut".
Be a little careful buying additional clipper heads as I think this must be a newer format for wahl. I bought a clipper head that said it fit "all wahl" but it was the larger size clipper head.
PS IF you do clip your kitty's belly, watch out for the nipples. There are an amazing 8 of them and in my male cat they are so tiny that ... well ... just watch out for them.
