I have cut my husband's hair for the last 10 years or so. I used to use electric clippers, but wanted to change to battery operated ones. These were the first I've found. They work well; I don't think they have quite the same power electric clippers do, but they cut my husband's hair well. His hair had gotten rather shaggy. I put the 1/2" guide on and had finished everything but the ears and neck trimming in 10 minutes. I would recommend them.
