Customer Reviews of WaterPik WP-60W Personal Dental Water Jet SystemCustomer Review: Great after wisdom teeth extraction Summary: 5 Stars
I recently had my wisdom teeth out, and had issues keeping the sockets clean of debris. Curved syringes did okay, but I felt that it didn't quite get everything out of there. It got to the point where I was afraid to eat because cleaning the sockets were such a pain! This unit did a fantastic job of keeping the extraction site nice and clean and free of infection, not to mention allowing me to eat normally after my oral surgery, not just ice cream. I did use the Waterpik at about an inch away from the extraction sites and used the lowest setting possible to avoid dislodging clots for the first week.
Customer Review: Great Product Summary: 5 Stars
I have had an older version of this WaterPic for about 20 years and it worked till 1/1/11. The tubbing just stated falling apart (the motor still works, LOL). I am very pleased with the new one I just got from Amazon. It is quieter and seems to work smooter that the old one and still has all the water preasue I need. The blue bowl that sits on top of the unit holds all the water I need for one complete use. I got the WaterPik WP-60W Personal Dental Water Jet System. Now I'm set for another 20 years, LOL.
Customer Review: Excellent control of spray Summary: 5 Stars
I had the portable Water Pik and I hated it. It broke in less than 6 months and it was difficult to handle and it needed to be refilled over and over for one good cleaning. This one is just perfect as the spray volume is easily adjustable and works very well. The basin for the water is the right amount of water for one good cleaning. The only little thing is that it is tough to put the wand back into the base for storing but other than that, it works just right.
Customer Review: As a Nasal Irrigator Summary: 5 Stars
I use the WP 60 for nasal irrigation and I have found it to be excellent. It has a button I can use to stop the stream and transfer over to the other side. It has a stronger stream than the waterpic that is sold only as a nasal irrigator and I like that also. It does make a lot of noise when I use it but other than that I think it works great as a nasal rinse machine. I did have to pick up the nasal "wand" from another vendor but it attaches fine to the WP60.
Customer Review: Victory over closely spaced teeth Summary: 5 Stars
For many months my wife has had problems of things sticking between two of her teeth. Toothpicks didn't work, dental floss didn't work. I purchased for her, the devices that are pre strung with floss in the hope that having a rigid support, the floss would work...to no avail. Her last resort was the WaterPic. It worked like magic!!!
