Customer Review: does the job but could be designed better

This machine does the job, no doubt about it. The powerful water jets clean all food debris away and massage my gums - I have braces so I use it instead of flossing, and my dentist said my gums were fine. The only problem I have with it is the design of the water reservoir. First of all, you can't fill the tank without picking up the fairly bulky apparatus and putting it underneath the faucet. I have a small sink so it's somewhat of a nuisance to do this. Secondly, the water reservoir isn't really 'attached' to the base at all, so it's pretty easy to knock the reservoir straight off of the base when moving it around or even turning it on, spilling water everywhere.Customer Review: Clean Teeth (now)

I've been using the WaterPik WP-65 for a couple of weeks now. I'm a first-time user of such a device --- and am very impressed so far. This device is admittedly somewhat cumbersome to use but seems to do a fine job of cleaning my teeth.
I should note that a strange situation occurred during shipping. The item was initially sent to an intermediate shipping point of Dallas. It was then trucked to Houston --- bypassing my location in Austin. Then the package was placed into US mail for Austin. There was NOT any significant delay, but it makes me wonder --- wouldn't it have been more efficient to have INITIALLY used the US mail?

Unlike other users' experiences, my Waterpik has not malfunctioned in the three years that I've owned it. But I usually wipe it down with a clean cloth after use because excess moisture can quickly lead to grime. Regularly maintaining it really makes a big difference. It is extremely loud, however, so I wouldn't recommend using it when people are sleeping nearby.
Overall, it's a very good product that helps reduce gum inflammation and bleeding. It has a good range of pressure settings, from gentle to very forceful. When I purchased it, the box included a blue tip, a pink tip, and a tongue scraper.

Excellent product which flushes teeth and gums with plenty of water flow for better cleaning. On mid range intensity it does great job without piercing pinpoint jet of my previous one. One drawback is the large size of product versus small vanity top, I should have been more aware of dimensions as it takes up large amount of space. Tank is overly large, which they say, means fewer fill ups, but I don't like the idea of leaving water in between uses, so I fill halfway, use and empty balance of water, also not very easy because of size. Also does not have tank cover top, which would help to keep it clean.Customer Review: Great Item at this Price

I hear alot of people complain that the waterpik is so loud - and it is - but you only use it a few minutes a day, and the benefits far outweigh the noise. This model comes with 2 heads and a tongue cleaner and I think it looks nicer than the other models with its deep blue bin that doubles as a cover. Best price I found (without having to wait for 7 day auctions to end grrrr) and it has various settings for the water pressure. I took away a star because it tends to leak a little (they all do) and for the noise, but overall a great value.
