For once, flossing is fun. The first couple of times you may want to use this in the shower until you get used to it. It's like a pressure washer for your gum and it takes a little getting used to. After a few times you can use it comfortably at the sink. I use this along with a sonicare toothbrush and it is AMAZING to see the pieces of food that the waterpik removes right after I brush. The next time you use it, pull the plunger in your sink and look for yourself. It really is amazing what is left even after you brush with a toothbrush or a sonicare tooth brush.Customer Review: good product

we've been using this for 2 months and are very pleased. It's very easy to fill and take in the shower to use - you can then refill if you like and use a second time. I'll be sending these as Xmas gifts to family this year! Have already bought one for my son that had a poor dental checkup followed by several root canals, etc. One tip for use is to shake water out after use, both upside down and out through fill hole, then leave cap open until next use to help dry out and prevent bacteria from forming. You can also rinse with rubbing alcohol to sanitize water reservoir.Customer Review: A must have if you have BRACES!!!!!!

I got braces a couple weeks ago but before I did I bought this. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. I have only had 3 meals where I could not use it (ate out) and I really missed it. It will be traveling in my purse next time.
I was told by someone that had their Waterpik die and replaced by Waterpik that you MUST keep it plugged in ALL the time to keep the charge good.
I don't care if this only lasts a year, I will go out and buy again.
I would NEVER go a day without one, it's that good for braces.

I have owned two (three, if you count the first one which never worked due to an initial battery problem) lesser WaterPik flossers. Each time they stopped working, it was the battery's fault.
I have waited a while to review this product and feel confident that this unit is more DURABLE than the others I have purchased. Maybe the two-year warrantee forces Waterpik to use better batteries.
Sure, it's a bit bulkier than I would prefer, but I'll take a useful product over a broken one any day.

This has stopped a problem where my gum was growing away from a dental implant due to gingivitis. The waterpik gets my mouth cleaner than I could flossing and brushing and the gingivitis has calmed down. Much more effective and pleasant to use than the Sonicare toothbrush. Very easy to use and doesn't take up much space. Yes it does make a whirring noise but it's not excessive. I wish I'd started using this years ago, maybe I wouldn't have needed the dental implants.
