In less than 6 weeks of using the Wet-Stop 3, our 8yo is now making it through the night on his own. After years of Goodnights and the Dr telling us our son would "grow out of it" and offering us a prescription, we decided to try this alarm. I'm so glad we did. We were a little skeptical because our son is a heavy sleeper. After 5-6 weeks, he no longer has to wear the alarm. He's only had 1 accident in the last 10 days (since he quit wearing the alarm) - and he woke up when it happened. Before, he wouldn't wake up, even in a wet bed.
The alarm volume was perfect. It would wake our son, and my husband and I - across the house. (It wasn't too loud, it didn't wake our daughters.)
The only negative is that it was hard to turn off. At first, our son was afraid of waking his sisters and would fool with the alarm, trying to turn it off, and wouldn't make it to the bathroom in time. But otherwise, we are very pleased.

I have never written a review before, but this worked so well I just had to share! My son is almost 7 and wet the bed almost every night. He would only have a dry pull up maybe once every 2 weeks. We just attached the wet stop to the inside of the pull up, and he was ready to go. It went off once a night for 9 nights in a row. It was loud enough to wake him - the first few nights he had already fully emptied his bladder into the pull up. The next nights after that, he would wake up with it going off and then finish using the bathroom in the toilet. After night 9, he went 2 weeks without an accident. And that accident happened at 6:30 am when we were on vacation skiing. We were in a different time zone - had we been at home he would have already been up for the day. Now he has gone another 1 1/2 with no accidents. He is wearing underwear and loves it. I really, really wish I had tried this sooner. No need to buy one of the more expensive alarms because this one works wonders. My 8-year-old son was very cooperative about wearing it each night and was able to hook it up himself and take it off in the middle of the night. The first 2 weeks were tough as he was getting used to it, but after using the alarm diligently for a month and a half, he has stayed dry for 16 nights straight! This worked for us and I only wish I had been told about this product 2 or 3 years earlier. The pediatrician kept assuring me that he would outgrow the bedwetting. Why not help the process along if there is a solution as easy as this. Don't give up even if you think that things are not progressing...in our case, the bedwetting seemed to stop overnight (no pun intended). Our doctor also recommended increasing day time fluids so that my son's bladder could get practice holding more fluid. Good luck!Customer Review: Get's the job done

I bought this for my three year old that has been potty trained for over a year. When she switch to no mid day naps she started to have accidents nightly, we didn't realize that she was so tired that she couldn't wake up to go to the bathroom. Took her to the doctor just to make sure she was OK, and then I found this alarm. It is so worth the $60. Once we figured out the right spot to put the sensor, it would go off before the under was wet. The alarm could be louder but it gets the job done. Some times my daughter is so exhausted that nothing will wake her up, but I can hear it go off in the next room and put her on the toilet in time, so I guess it is just right. Oh yeah, my daughter loves the silver and gold stickers that come with the calendar, it's a great motivator. For every week's worth of stars she gets a trip to the ice cream parlor.Customer Review: Really works!

Was intrigued by the reviews, but my 6 YO was a heavy sleeper and doesn't like change. He was getting tired of bringing his sheets down to the wash each day so we told him before it arrived that we had a beeper to help hime stop. He was skeptical, not wanting to be woken up. The first couple nights, I heard the alarm and when I got to his room, he was already up trying to unsnap it so he could go to the potty. No distress at all. he just did it and back to sleep. Now we hook to underwear but just leave the beeper in the bed rather than around the collar. Previously, he was wetting 6 out of seven nights. First week he was woken up by the alrm each night only slightly wet. (one night full wet) The second week has been All Gold Stars and he is thrilled. Looks like it has worked in just over 2 weeks. Crazy. But all involved are happy!
