Customer Reviews of Wondfo Pregnancy Test Strips, 25-countCustomer Review: Never going to WalMart again! Wow! Summary: 5 Stars
Simple to use, cheap, and more accurate then most the tests found at walmart.
They are so easy to use, as long as you don't mind the little bit of mess coming with peeing in a cup.
I happen to be trying to conceive, and I bought 50 of these strips for less then [...]. Now, buying 50 tests elsewhere at the LEAST around here, will cost you [...] PLUS tax. So, this is a real good deal! That, and they are more sensitive then the majority of other brands.
Love this product. I recommend this to ANYONE who is wastes money on those ept 3 packs that cost so much. This is the real deal, and I have used 10 so far and haven't had an issue with any of them. I let my friend, whom is prego, pee on one, and it read that she was. And then I took one, and it was negative and I am not prego yet. Then I let my friend who didn't know she was prego pee on it, and it was positive and she went to the doctor the next day, and found out she was only 2 weeks! (The hospital's test didn't even register the hormone, they had to do blood work after she insisted.) So yes. This product is amazing and it works!
Customer Review: Pink strips still effective! Summary: 5 Stars
I was never regular before the pill and expected to be irregular after stopping it. I bought these tests after reading the reviews and figured I could test whenever without wasting big bucks. I was originally upset when I got mailed the "pink-handle" tests because the good reviews were for the early result "blue-handle" tests and the instruction sheet with mine said they were effective "one day after missed AF," but I used them anyway mixed in with a few dollar store tests, especially as my cycle got really long.
Needless to say, the pink strip tests work very well, and in my experience were more sensitive than the dollar store tests. With the same pee, I got a much darker line on the dipstick than a dollar store test that I probably would have thought was BFN had I not tested with a dipstick first. Also, if you aren't sure when to expect AF or just like to test rather than wonder, these are really great.
I dont know if the pink ones are the same as the blue ones but I used the pink ones and still recommend them.
Customer Review: Great Bargain! Summary: 5 Stars
I've used these a few times when I suspected I might be pregnant and the results were negative. It's a fantastic bargain if they work and I have no complaints yet.
8/22/09 Update: I used these for a few days before my period was due and each time it was negative. The day it was due, I took another one and was about it throw it away but thought I saw a faint line. I took a pregnancy test at a local WIC and it was negative so I thought I was imagining things. But the next day I took another to be sure and it was the tiniest bit darker. So I went and bought a test that says, "Pregnant or Not Pregnant." (I love those tests. They're so no nonsense.) I was pregnant. I guess I can't complain too much about the test strips but I am used to pregnancy tests telling me a day or two before hand that I am definitely pregnant. I didn't like the uncertainty of it. But I will use them again. They're so cheap and if I don't have the money for a store pregnancy test, I know they will work....eventually.
Customer Review: Maintaining my peace of mind Summary: 5 Stars
Unlike most reviewers for pregnancy tests, I am desperately trying NOT to conceive. I recently made the switch from hormonal birth control to an IUD (ParaGard) and while I was told that my periods would "rearrange" themselves and be a little unpredictable for a while, it was still a little unnerving to go from a 22-day cycle to... well, 30 days and counting without seeing any sign of a period. After a lot of nail-biting and nervousness, I took one of these tests and absolutely rejoiced when I saw that it came up negative.
As other reviewers have said - you pee in a cup, then dip the test stick into it for a few seconds before laying it flat on the counter and giving it a few minutes. After 5-10 minutes, you come back to check, and your result is clear as day. Quick and easy.
I'll never be without these - I highly recommend them for anyone with irregular periods or who gets a little freaked out when their period's not on time. They'll save you a lot of stress.
Customer Review: effective and cheap Summary: 5 Stars
(this review is for the strips distributed by Formosa, with pink handles)
In terms of sensitivity: these showed a faint but noticeable line on a day when my blood HCG levels were 35.4. The line increased in brightness significantly when levels were up to 100.
The packaging says these can be used to test starting from 1 day after your missed period. However, this doesn't mean that much as it depends entirely on what your individual hcg levels are for that pregnancy. I got my first barely-visible positive 2 days before the missed period. For what it's worth, the far more expensive First Response Early Response strip came out negative 2 days before that.
For about $0.25 a strip (compared to $6.00 a strip at the store), the difference between these and name-brand is slight, if any.
If you're TTC for the long-run and are obsessed with gathering as much data as possible, save yourself the financial burden and go for these.
