Thanks to a friend who introduced me to oils, I fell in love with peppermint oil, especially this brand.
I had seborhheic dermatitis on my face and scalp. Meds just weren't helping me much. If the medications, and there were a lot, did work, it would be over a period of days! I tried the pappermint oil! And overnight, honest, the redness, itching and flaking went away. No lie! I then added a few drops to water and rinse my hair and it helped my scalp itching too. I am a reasonably sane person, but if someone had told me a simply oil would help me face and scalp overnight I would not have believed it. And I cannot say it will work for you, but I can only honestly report what it did for me. Now, we use it for a lot of other things. Look peppermint oil on the internet and see what it is supposed to help. We did. Now I put it on my neck *(I had a neck injury), my husbands shoulder, breath it in for sinus... and it seems to seriously help. I have even told my doctor about it.... We are believers and this brand seems to be more potent than others. Nope, I do not work for the company, I just am so thrilled to have my seborrheic dermatitis improved !!!!!!!!

Peppermint (Mentha piperita) has a strong, clean, fresh, minty aroma. One of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion, it may also restore digestive efficiency.* Jean Valnet MD studied peppermint's supportive effect on the liver and respiratory systems. Other scientists have also researched peppermint's role in improving taste and smell when inhaled. Dr. William N. Dember of the University of Cincinnati studied peppermint's ability to improve concentration and mental sharpness. Alan Hirsch MD studied peppermint's ability to directly affect the brain's satiety center, which triggers a sensation of fullness after meals. This powerful essential oil is often diluted before topical application. Peppermint may also be used to enhance the flavor of food and water. Suggested Use: For dietary, aromatic, or topical use. When using as a supplement, dilute one drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid such as goat's or rice milk. Possible skin sensitivity. If pregnant or under a doctor's care, consult your physician. Dilution recommended for both topical and internal use. Do not apply neat to a fresh wound or burn.
