Customer Reviews of ZymaDermCustomer Review: What I am about to write will be rather lengthy... Summary: 5 StarsWhat I am about to write will be rather lengthy, but I want to include all the details of my story in the hope that something I mention will help someone. I am a 37 year old male and I contracted Molluscum around July 2005. I had a pool party and about two weeks later I noticed these little growths popping up on my lower abdomen (below the belt line) and on my genitals. I jumped online to research it and discovered I had Molluscum.
I had been in a monogamous relationship with a gal for 6 months, but there were no signs of Molluscum on either of us until I got it after the pool party. To this day I am convinced that's where I got it from because I recalled at the end of the day just grabbing a strange towel from the pool area that didn't belong to me, going into the bathroom, stripping down and toweling off. Two weeks later, waa laa, I have Molluscum.
I didn't really do much about it. In the fall I had an appointment with my dermatologist to have my annual skin check and he examined the Molluscum bumps. I had 13 total by that time. He didn't really have much to say about it. Like many docs, he said either wait til they go away on their own or freeze them off. I asked about Retin-A and he said he would write a prescription if I wanted. So I took the prescription and started using it on occasion. It would flare up the bumps and turn them red. I think the way Retin-A may work is that it inflames the bumps, then the body's immune system attacks them because of the inflammation. Well about this same time, I had been hearing about Airborne - the immune booster you get at the drug stores to help ward off colds (airbornehealth.com). I was just starting to get a cold, so I hit the Airborne - took 2 to 3 tablets a day for about 10 days. It was successful in warding off the cold (I highly recommend it now as I felt the cold was always there, but the symptoms never came alive - I sneezed maybe 3 times in 10 days! The stuff is awesome - take it early though). So here is the catch - I noticed at the end of the Airborne run that my Molluscum had started to shrink some, and I hadn't started showing any new ones. I had only used Retin-A a couple times. Of course, after the cold was gone, I stopped using Airborne. A couple weeks later, the Molluscum were coming alive again and I had some new ones. That's when I realized the Airborne may have been helping. So I went a while again without doing much of anything. In the back of my mind I knew I wanted to get the Airborne again and try that. But in Feb 2006 I went back to the internet to research Molluscum remedies and came across the Zymaderm web site. I bought some, received my package in two days (I must have paid for the fast shipping), and started using it right away, around March 1. I had used the Retin-A again in late Feb on a couple of the bigger bumps that I had on the abdomen, and it really swelled them up even larger (each now the size of a BB) and made them start to ooze. I was using band-aids to keep the oozing from causing a spreading affect. I still had about 13, nine on the abdomen and four on the genitals. I started using the Zymaderm twice every day - morning and night. (For kicks I also started taking the Airborne twice a day - which I did for about a week only). I noticed right away that what the Zymederm was doing was having a mild peeling affect of the skin. It doesn't smell bad like many say, just a little mediciney. I had no irritation, no pain, and no stinging. Sometimes I was sloppy in putting it on and it got on the surrounding skin. This just caused some mild peeling, and from my point of view this just proved it was working. Every time I put it on, a small layer of skin was coming off. After 17 days all nine on the abdomen have probably shrunk about 80%. They should be gone within a couple weeks. The two big BB sized ones shrunk faster than any of the others and are virtually gone. The four on the genitals, while very small in size, are proving a little tougher. I haven't seen much impact on them but I am confident they will go away soon. There has been no skin irritation problem in that area of use. In conclusion: I am extremely pleased with my results from using Zymaderm and whole heartedly recommend its use to battle this problem.
Customer Review: I finally decided that we had nothing to lose by trying Zymaderm. Summary: 5 StarsI tried Zymaderm after putting my children through extremely painful scapings, beetlejuice and Retin-A treatments. We also tried Aldara - which wasn't painful - it just dind't work. I finally decided that we had nothing to lose by trying Zymaderm. Much to my surprise - it worked! My 2 and 4 year olds are molloscum free and they didn't have to endure any more torture-like treatments. My 2 year old also has eczema and very sensitive skin, so I was worried about trying it on him - but he experienced no problems at all. I would recommend this product to anyone trying to get rid of molloscum!
Customer Review: I had a doctors appointment this week to have them removed but now I am happy to say there really isn't much to remove. Summary: 5 StarsI came across Zymaderm when I recently discovered I had Molluscum and I searched online to see what alternative methods I could use to get rid of it. I am 23 years old and contracted it through sex. The godawful little bumps were all over the inside of my thighs. I was happy to find out that it was Molluscum and not something worse, but was very unhappy at the treatment methods offered by my doctor. Burning and freezing them off and what not. I was not exactly in favor of that especially because of where they are located. I am writing a review right now because the reviews were what helped me to decide to purchase Zymaderm. It has been one of the best choices I have ever made. 2 weeks and they are going away more and more every day. They just keep getting flatter. I only had about 5 or so but they were still some mean little bumps. A couple things I must say about Zymaderm are first, YES it does smell TERRIBLE. The first bottle I received came in the mail and the top was loose. When I pulled it out of the bubble wrap the top flew off and the stuff spilled all over a pile of my clothes that were sitting on the floor. Im still trying to get the smell out. Second you have to be consistant. You can't just put it on when you feel like it. Otherwise I am positive it would take forever before you saw a change. Once a day has been enough for me and occasionally I put it on twice a day. I am so happy to have found this stuff. I had a doctors appointment this week to have them removed but now I am happy to say there really isn't much to remove. So I will more then likely be cacelling that appointment. Anyway they aren't 100% gone yet but I am more then positive they will be in no time. If you are skeptical about this stuff, don't be. Just try it. I know I'm happy that I did.
Customer Review: I applied that on... Summary: 5 StarsI purchased zymaderm only like for the first time.........a little under 14 days ago, and my bumps are GONE. I have like only a couple left, but this stuff works really WELL!!!!!!! I'm so thankful for it. What i did was apply iodine base that is partial alcohol, that i got at the store. I applied that on, until it came in the mail, and then I used the Zymaderm, I ran out, because i applied it religiously twice a day, and then purchased two more bottles to use, in case any new ones came up, which it takes time to get rid of mollluscum (however you speell it). ON another subject, i also have another problem with my skin. I have warts on my thumb, and have applied the zymaderm on them, (they are centralized in the same spot), but they are going away VERY FAST!!!!!!. and then i have way too many plantar warts on my right foot. I spread the warts on my foot when i use to try to pick them off with a nail clipper!!!!! NEVER DO THAT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! because it spreads the warts on the spot. ANYWAYS, i started putting the zymaderm on the plantar warts for a couple days and they are GOING AWAY!!! so far so good, i'm so happy, because they hurt really bad, OR USE TO. and i did some separate research and found that duct tape is a good remedy to get rid of plantar warts, or warts in general. So in addition to putting zymaderm on them, I put duct tape on, on every application after the zymaderm has dried. WOOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
buy it people's, you wont regret it.
peace!
