I bought these because our others were wearing out. I was happy with the old ones, but these new ones (I bought one for each family member, of course) are truly far superior. I'm glad I found them. In fact, they are so good, you have to be careful not to "overdue" the filing of your feet or you could end up with too little skin left! That could be a warning to heed for people with reduced feeling in their feet. But, bottom line, this file leaves you with nice, smooth feet -- especially when you follow-up with a lotion.
